SUMMARY

2003 Honda S2000

The exterior was inspected for cosmetic issues and functionality. There is general misalignment of body panels (see pictures). Minor miscellaneous scratches and dings are present around the vehicle, which are normal for the mileage and often too small to capture in photos. The trunk lid has been repainted, showing evidence of poor workmanship. The underside exhibits areas of light surface rust (see pictures). The window trim and door seals are in good condition, and the glass is free of obvious damage. Both the headlights and tail lights are clear and free of any visible cracks or other damage.

During the interior inspection, there was light wear on the seats, which is normal for the mileage. The main selector button/switch on the A/C controls is cracked and needs to be replaced. The window switches show cosmetic wear from use. The carpet exhibits normal wear consistent with age and mileage. All windows, locks, and mirrors were functional. There were no signs of smoke or unusual odors.

The engine bay and undercarriage components were visually inspected for signs of leakage, deterioration, and fluid conditions. All accessible fluids were at their proper levels and had a healthy color. There were no visible signs of leaks or seepage underneath. The exhaust shows some surface rust but currently has no leaks and sounds good.

A test drive was conducted. The vehicle accelerated as expected and performed well in terms of ride quality. However, there is a suspension rattle coming from the left front area that requires further diagnosis. Additionally, the steering wheel is off-center, and the vehicle pulls to the left when driving straight. A scan of the ECU revealed no current, pending, or historic fault codes.

The tires were inspected for tread depth and any unusual wear patterns. The front tires are Continental, and the rear tires are Advanta. All tires exhibit sufficient remaining tread depth. There are also curb rashes on the front left wheel.
