SUMMARY

1956 Jaguar D-Type Realm

The exterior was assessed for cosmetic concerns and functionality. The paint seemed to be well-maintained, with no noticeable dents or dings. However, there is a small paint chip visible in photo 5. Light rust was observed in specific areas underneath, particularly noticeable on the bolts. The door seals were in good condition. The glass was free of damage, and the windshield wiper and washer were operational. Both the headlights and tail lights were clear without any visible cracks or damage. Panel gaps and shut lines appeared to be within normal range.

During the interior inspection, there is light wear on the seats. The interior electronics are functioning correctly, with the speedometer in working order and no warning lights illuminated.

The engine bay and undercarriage components underwent visual examination for signs of leakage, deterioration, and fluid conditions. Accessible fluids were found at their correct levels and exhibited a healthy color. No signs of leaks or seepages were observed underneath.

A test drive was carried out, and the vehicle accelerated as anticipated, demonstrating good ride quality, acceleration, and handling. No unusual noises or vibrations were noticed during the inspection. The brakes felt firm, with no noticeable pulsation.

The tires were examined for tread depth and any unusual wear patterns. All four tires are from the same brand and have adequate remaining tread depth.
