1990 Ford Mustang LX

The exterior underwent an inspection for cosmetic issues and functionality. Minor miscellaneous scratches were discovered around the vehicle, which are typical for its mileage and mostly too small to be visible in photos. Some of these scratches are evident on the front bumper, hood, and rear bumper. Additionally, minor miscellaneous dings were noted around the body. The paint shows signs of wear and tear consistent with age and mileage. The underside and some parts of the engine bay exhibit areas of surface rust. The headlights exhibit signs of wear and fogging due to oxidation. Furthermore, the front bumper displays paint fading, along with some chips that have developed rust. Nevertheless, the convertible top, body seals, glass, and exterior lights are all intact and functional.

During the interior inspection, the seats displayed moderate wear, with some dirt, leather creases, and marks. The inner door panels showed wear consistent with age and mileage. The inner trunk shows signs of wear, and some parts of the cover are starting to detach. However, the interior electronics and climate controls were operating properly, and the windows, locks, and mirrors were all functional. There were no signs of smoke or unusual odors.

The engine bay and undercarriage components underwent visual examination for leakage, deterioration, and fluid conditions. Accessible fluids were at their correct levels and displayed a healthy color. Additionally, no signs of leaks or seepages were observed underneath. However, the brake rotors are showing signs of rust. Furthermore, the exhaust exhibits some surface rust but currently has no leaks and sounds good.

During the test drive, the engine exhibited plenty of power with no misfires. However, there were some hard shifts noted during the road test due to the aftermarket transmission. Additionally, loose steering was observed during the road test, indicating the need for further diagnosis.

The tires were inspected for tread depth and any unusual wear patterns. All four tires are of the same brand and exhibit sufficient remaining tread depth. However, all tires are displaying signs of dry rot.
