1996 ToyotaMR2

Upon examining the exterior of this vehicle, it was noted that it was imported from Japan, evident from the use of kilometers for mileage and speed (MPH). There are no visible federal tags present. The rear wheels display some negative camber, likely due to modifications. Minor miscellaneous scratches typical for its mileage are present around the vehicle, although most are too small to be visible in photos. Notably, there is a 4-inch scratch on the right front spoiler. The overall paint appears fresh but exhibits an orange peel texture in certain areas, and the top half of the car has been repainted black and is not original. Additionally, surface rust is visible on the underside. The window trim and door seals are in good condition, and the glass shows no obvious damage. The windshield wiper and washer functions operate properly, and both the headlights and tail lights are clear and free of any noticeable cracks or damage.

Inside, I observed that the seats show some light wear. The climate control and infotainment systems were found to function properly. All essential features including windows, locks, mirrors, and gauges operated as expected during the inspection. There were no indications of smoke or unusual odors inside the vehicle.

The engine bay and undercarriage components were inspected visually for leakage, deterioration, and fluid conditions. The oil appears fresh and at the proper level, with no signs of excessive moisture or sludge under the oil fill cap. However, the vehicle has an aftermarket air filter and cold air intake system installed, which should be removed, cleaned, and reinstalled. Additionally, there is an aftermarket muffler installed. The car has undergone several modifications, including the installation of a cold air intake, turbo timer, intake pressure relief, suspension upgrades, and aftermarket wheels.

During the test drive, the vehicle accelerated as expected and demonstrated good performance in terms of ride quality, acceleration, and handling. The brakes felt firm and exhibited no detectable pulsation.

The tires were checked for tread depth and unusual wear patterns. The vehicle has a mix of tire brands, with Racing Slicks on the front tires and Falcon tires on the rear. Signs of dry rot are visible on the tires, and the remaining tread depth measures at 4/32. Furthermore, the front wheels are without hubcaps.
