Overall, the vehicle was in fair condition; however, the wipers are worn and should be replaced, and the wiper motor does not return to the parked position when turned off. There are several miscellaneous scratches spread around the exterior, with some too small to capture in photos, but most are visible. The paint appears good from a distance but has flaws when viewed up close, including runs, orange peel, bubbles, and some dull spots. The overall paint job does not appear to be done professionally. Additionally, there are several areas with chips or damage that have been touched up with mismatched paint. There is also some peeling in the vent area over the engine cover at the rear. There are miscellaneous areas showing some rust formation, but none of them exhibit significant rust or material loss. Please refer to the photos for details. The bumpers have some dings, dents, scratches, bends, and overall chrome deterioration. The front door outer window seals do not sit properly within the door. There are scratches on the driver's side door and quarter glass. Additionally, the driver's window glass has some chipping at the top edge. There are some areas with high readings spread around the vehicle, and body filler is visible in areas where there are chips. The doors exhibit slight sagging, requiring additional effort to open and close them properly. The chrome shows signs of aging, including pitting, dulling, wrinkling, lifting, and some rusting, particularly noticeable on the bumpers. The rear wheels are slightly bent.
Inside, I noted that the seats exhibit some light wear. The right front seat is missing the release lever on the side, with only the slit in the material remaining. The seat belts and buckles show some age. The clock does not work. The interior trim displays general signs of age and wear throughout. Additionally, the right rear inner panel is separating from the interior wall. All essential features such as windows, locks, mirrors, and gauges operated properly during the inspection.
The mechanical components of the vehicle were inspected thoroughly. The engine is experiencing active oil leaks. To pinpoint the source of these leaks or any others, it is advised to pressure wash the engine and then conduct a recheck. Additionally, the transmission is leaking fluid, evident from a drip underneath the vehicle. This area should be cleaned to identify the exact source of the leak. The exhaust system shows signs of surface rust, but currently, there are no leaks, and it sounds healthy. No burning oil smell was detected in the engine compartment after running the vehicle. Fasteners in the engine bay appeared to be generally intact and secure. Furthermore, hoses, belts, axle boots, and visible bushings seemed to be in sound condition.
After inspecting the vehicle, I conducted a road test and observed that the engine stumbled and hesitated slightly at the beginning. This was likely due to insufficient warm-up time. It took only 1-2 minutes for these issues to resolve, and afterward, the engine ran smoothly. Allowing the engine to warm up adequately before driving would likely improve its performance. Additionally, the brakes were firm with no detectable pulsation. I did not detect any unusual noises or vibrations during the inspection.
