SUMMARY

2016 Winnebago VIEW 24M

On the exterior, I observed that the tires were matched by brand and have an appropriate tread depth. The slide outs and awnings functioned as designed. However, the left side head assembly of the awning is cracked. The jacks also worked as designed. Additionally, the roof is in good condition. There are minor miscellaneous scratches around the vehicle, most of them are too small to see in photos. The vehicle shows minor miscellaneous dings around the body, and the clear coat on the hood is peeling. The underside shows areas of minor surface rust, as depicted in the pictures.

Upon inspecting the interior, I found no traces of leaks, and the interior appears clean. I observed no smoke or odd odors. All electrical features operated properly, including the climate controls and stereo, functioning as designed. Interior lights and accessories were also in working order. The appliances and water systems functioned properly. There are no floor issues. The 2-burner gas stove is operating, but currently needs to be lit by a lighter as the battery in the igniter needs to be replaced. Additionally, there is light wear to the seats of the vehicle, which is normal for the mileage. The inner door panels and trim show minor wear.

Undercarriage components were visually examined for leakage, deterioration, and damage, and they were noted with no issues. However, there's oil from the underside specifically on the drain plug of the oil pan. There were no drips at the time of inspection, but this area should be cleaned off and rechecked to verify if there's a leak or not. Additionally, the exhaust shows some surface rust, but at this time, it has no leaks and sounds good.

Under the hood I observed that all fluids were at recommended levels.

On the road test I noticed good acceleration and braking. The transmission and transfer case worked as designed. The vehicle handled well. I noted no odd noises or vibrations. There were fault codes noted in the scanned history that do not appear to be current and one monitor showed incomplete. Further diagnosis is required. The vehicle owner did indicate that the battery had been replaced recently.
