This classic shows well but the paint job is average. The vehicle repaint shows dust under the paint, some orange peel, and signs of poor prep. This is sub-par workmanship. The paint shows some wear and chipping on the edges of the trunk opening, other chips were noticed. Chrome molding has a couple dings. The chrome is scratched and wearing due to age. The body seals around the windows are showing signs of age and wear. This includes the doors, windows, trunk, and other miscellaneous body seals. The underside shows areas of surface rust. See pictures. The tail lights have some small cracks but I do not see condensation on the inside.

The interior looks good and cared for. I did not notice any funky smells or tears in the interior. The manual windows slide up and down properly. Side vent windows are operational. Stereo system was not operational at the time of inspection. Doors, hood, and trunk open properly. Cigarette ashtrays open/close properly. I didn't notice any pet odor, cigarette use, musty smell or any other unpleasant odors. Headliner is clean and shows no signs of sagging. Interior dome light and glove compartment lights are operational. I lifted the trunk cover and it's solid.

The engine bay is clean. I didn't see any drips/seepage but as seen in the pictures, there is an oil drip tray under the vehicle. I shined the light on the undercarriage and I didn't notice any obvious drips. It may be a very small seldom leak as seen with many older engine setups (including my own). The fluids are topped off and clean. The engine oil still has life in it before an oil change is required.

As seen in the video, the cold engine started right up. The engine idled smoothly. The engine smoked very lightly at the beginning, please see video. I didn't notice it until the vehicle was backing out of the garage. It was a bit on the darker side (it just may be running a little too rich since the choke was on so I wouldn't worry about it). I just wanted to point it out since it may be seen in the video. After the 3-mile test drive, the owner left the vehicle idling while I took a few last photos, and I no longer noticed any smoke.

The owner took me for a road test. We were able to reach cruising speeds somewhat smoothly. All gears shifted as they should without issues. From the road test and start up here is what I noticed. As far as the engine/transmission go, I think the vehicle is solid. It ran well and takes off without issues. At one point in the road test, we were at a stop sign on a slightly uphill street and the vehicle took off without hesitation. What I did notice was the vehicle's suspension system. The vehicle shakes, not violently but you can definitely feel it, right between 10mph until about 15 mph. Before and after that, the vehicle is fine. Owner stated he's always known about the issue but never messed with the vehicle. Brakes worked as they should and I didn't notice any grinding at any point or squeaking throughout the road test. The throttle responds well. It handled well. There is no forcing of the steering wheel to turn or lane change. See below and pictures for more info.
