2021 AUDI RS7

I started this inspection off with a walk around the exterior of the vehicle. The vehicle appeared clean and detailed. All of the exterior lighting operated as designed. When up close, paint chips / blemishes were noticed on the LF fender and front bumper areas. The paint thickness meter ranged from .10mm which is normal to see to .25mm on the front fenders and hood due to the clear bra protectant film installed. This will cause the meter to read thicker which is normal. Only one smart key was present for the vehicle, which operated normally. The mounted tire sizes all matched and were the correct size per the tire label. Visually, no leaks seen under the vehicle. The engine compartment appeared clean and detailed. The engine oil level is checked electronically and shows to be OK on the monitor. All other fluids are covered up.

Next, I moved into the interior. The interior appeared clean and detailed. All floor mats were in the trunk area. The instrument cluster showed a "Central locking malfunction message" The power door lock buttons inside the vehicle didn't seem to work, but the smart key remote locking / unlocking did. The instrument cluster also showed a tire light message being on. No engine DTCs with hand held scan tool hooked up. All other power features appeared to operate normally. The HVAC system operated in all modes and functions with full heat and cold AC. All seat belts latched and retracted normally. I did notice that the LF seat belt latch detent was missing. This detent function keeps the latch in place at a certain level on the seat belt for ease of putting the seat belt on. Otherwise without this detents the latch falls to the lowest point per the floor. All other seat belts have the detents in place for comparison. No spare tire in the trunk area, just inflater tools / equipment.

Lastly, I went on a road test with the point off contact. The vehicle started right up with no issues. The vehicle accelerated with plenty of power and with a nice exhaust note. The transmission shifted through all the gears normally. No abnormal noises heard during the road test. The cruse control engaged and operated normally. The vehicle tracked straight and the steering wheel was straight. The brake pedal application was smooth.
This concluded the inspection.

Tire Pressure System (TPMS)
The tire pressure monitoring light is on. This could be as simple as a tire that is low on air or it could be something else. Each tire has a battery operated sensor. If a battery has failed, the sensor will need replacement. Other issues that may cause this light to come on but these are the two most common ones. This will need further diagnosis.
Computer Diagnosis/OBD2
"Central locking malfunction" warning message is on the instrument cluster.
