This 2008 Coachmen FREELANDER 3130IS is in good running and driving condition with some flaws to note. There were no obvious indications of previous damage due to accidents, flooding, or water leaks.

Exterior

The underside shows areas of surface rust. See pictures. The molding around the left slide out is broken and should be replaced. The body seal along the top of the drivers door was loose. All of the other body seals and caulking around the vehicle are in good condition. One of the brackets attaching the ladder to the back of the vehicle is loose. The exterior vinyl wrap is overall in good condition. I did not see any scratches, dings, rock chips, or dents around the vehicle. The awnings are in good condition and operate smoothly. The slide outs are in good condition and operate properly with no binding or abnormal noise notable. The generator starts and runs well. All of the body seals around the RV are in good condition.

Interior

The seats and upholstery throughout the vehicle show moderate wear. The blind in the bedroom is crooked. The interior trim throughout the vehicle shows moderate wear from use. The carpet shows moderate wear and is dirty. The water systems throughout the RV are operating properly. The HVAC systems throughout the RV are operating properly. The kitchen appliances are in good condition and operate properly. All of the other functions, controls, and accessories not yet noted are operating properly. There were no odd smells in the RV at the inspection, and this is a non-smoker unit.

Test Drive

I found no issues on the test drive. The engine had plenty of power and there were no misfires or smoking. The transmission shifted as designed with no harsh engagement or slipping. The steering was responsive and the suspension was firm and the RV handled well. There were no abnormal vibrations or odd noises. The brakes were firm with no pulsation felt. There were no leaks found to the underside of the RV. I hooked up my Scan Tool to the computer system and found no current or pending codes. All of the live data looked good with no issues reported. See below and pictures for more info.
