This 1956 Ford F100 is in good running and driving condition with some flaws worthy of note. This truck is considered to be a nice driver quality vehicle not certainly not a show truck.

Exterior

The hood is misaligned. There are minor misc chips and scratches around the vehicle, most too small to see in photos. The vehicle repaint shows dust under the paint, some orange peel, and signs of poor prep. This is sub-par workmanship. The underside shows areas of moderate to heavier surface rust. There is some rust nearing rot on the bottoms of the doors. See pictures. There is evidence of poor patch work in the rocker, cab corner, and door jambs. The door mirror chrome is fading and pitting with age. The rear bumper shows discoloration and a small dent or wave in the bumper, shown in pictures. The body seals around the windows are showing signs of age and wear. This includes the doors, windows, trunk, and other miscellaneous body seals. They will need replacement. Glass appears original, the windshield has deterioration around the edges, as well as the door wing windows. I checked the vehicle with a magnet and found it to stick all around but was weaker in the lower panels. Not excessive. The hood is difficult to close. The chrome is pitted and wearing due to age.

Interior

The inner door panels have some heavy scratches in the metal portion with poor touch-up. The door pulls are worn. The interior trim shows moderate wear with age. The chrome and brightwork is dulling and showing age. The dash finish is poor, heavy orange peel, and shows some nicks and scratches. The interior flooring is very dirty.

Test Drive

Seller did not permit a road test. Due to this, I spent more time going over the vehicle. I found the engine to start and run well. The transmission engaged in both forward and reverse with no issues. The brakes were firm, and held the vehicle properly. A visual inspection of the steering and suspension showed no obvious issues. Please see photos and below for more info.
